Information we process
Information needed to deliver and secure the website
When your browser requests the website, our hosting provider necessarily receives technical information such as your IP address, request date and time, requested page, browser and device details, and diagnostic or security information. This is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and investigate failures.
Analytics information, only with your permission
If you enable analytics, we may process:
- the referring website’s hostname, or an indication that the visit was direct;
- the landing page and campaign parameters such as
utm_source,utm_medium, andutm_campaign; - page views and interactions such as partnership, email, telephone, and outbound-link clicks;
- browser, device, and approximate usage information supplied by the analytics tags configured in Google Tag Manager; and
- your two-letter country or region code derived from your IP address.
The country lookup happens through a same-site endpoint. The endpoint sends the requesting IP address to Azure Maps and returns only the country or region code to the web page. We do not place the raw IP address in the browser data layer.
Information you provide
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the contact details, message, and any other information you choose to provide so we can respond and maintain an appropriate business record.

Cookies and browser storage
Necessary browser storage remembers your language and privacy choices. Analytics and marketing technologies stay off unless you enable them. Our Cookie Policy lists the storage we use and explains how to change your choices.
Who receives information
We use service providers only where needed to operate the website:
- Microsoft Azure hosts the website and its serverless endpoint. Azure Maps performs the optional IP-to-country lookup.
- Google provides Google Tag Manager and any Google analytics or advertising services enabled through the published container after the relevant consent.
- Professional and public authorities may receive information where reasonably necessary to obtain advice, protect rights, prevent harm, or comply with law.
These providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we use contractual, organisational, and legal safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep information
- Your consent record remains in your browser for up to 180 days, then we ask again.
- Your language preference remains until you change it or clear browser storage.
- Website security and diagnostic logs are kept only for the period needed for security, troubleshooting, and legal obligations.
- Analytics, campaign, and enquiry information is kept only for the relevant reporting or business purpose and then deleted or anonymised according to the applicable service settings and our retention practices.
Your choices and rights
You can reject optional technologies or change your selection at any time through Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also be entitled to complain to your local privacy or data-protection authority.
To make a request, email info@gainsecure.net. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security, children, and updates
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
This business website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal data from children through it.
We may update this policy when our website, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date.
